1) Zagreb Christmas Market (Advent u Zagrebu). The capital of Croatia has in recent years become one of the most sought after destinations for lovers of Christmas markets throughout Europe. Zagreb Christmas Markets have been repeatedly chosen among the best markets on the continent.
The markets take place in the beautiful city park of Zrinjevac (Advent na Zrinjevcu), in Europe Square (Advent na Europskom trgu), and on many streets and squares of the city. Children Advent (Kod Rudolfa – Advent za velike i male) takes place in the beautiful scenery of Strossmayer Square. The Christmas Fair (Božićni sajam) takes place in many streets and squares of the city such as Bogovićeva ulica, Gajeva ulica, Petrićeva ulica (trgovina), Varšavska ulica.
