The state of São Paulo has a sub-tropical and tropical climate deeply influenced by the altitude, most of the state, located on the highlands, is affected by the tropical climate of altitude and the sub-tropical climate.

The sea water temperature varies between 26 ° C in the summer and 20 ° C (18 ° C in the southernmost places) in the winter along the entire coast of the state of São Paulo.
