The citizen of a member country of the European Union, can move and reside freely in Spain. For European citizens, an identity card issued by the municipality, valid for expatriation or a passport, is required for entry into Spain. Children and minors must have their own passport / identity card. Citizens of other countries need a passport. A visa is required for citizens of some nationalities.
Driving license: national driving license.

SPAIN: HEALTH INSURANCE, TRAVEL INSURANCE AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Hospital medical care in Spain is good across the country. To receive medical assistance it is necessary to present the European Health Insurance Card. As in any trip abroad, it is recommended to take out supplementary travel and health insurance, they cost on average 50 Euros per person and make the trip much more easy in case of problems.
The Spanish health service has a dense network of health centers and hospitals, distributed across the nation. If circumstances require, medical assistance can be provided in the patient’s home. Specialized care is provided in hospitals. There is also an emergency room service in hospitals and in some health centers.
In Spain, medicines must be purchased in pharmacies. You will identify them on the street thanks to a green cross. European citizens will receive the same pharmaceutical services to which the Spaniards are entitled.
Vaccinations: no vaccinations are required for entry into Spain.
