This Australian island is located in the Pacific Ocean 600 km off the coast of New South Wales. Lord Howe Island has a sub-tropical climate characterized by hot summers and mild winters. The average maximum temperatures of the island vary between 19 ° C and 20 ° C in winter and 25 ° C and 24 ° C in summer.
