Disneyland Paris: the amusement park of Paris

Disneyland Resort Paris is an amusement park located in Marne-la-Vallée, about 30 km east of Paris. This famous park is made up of two Disney theme parks: Disneyland Park (normally called EuroDisney or Disneyland Paris) and Walt Disney Studios.

The amusement park is the largest of Disney’s parks, and is the most visited theme park in Europe. The park is divided into five thematic areas: Main Street USA, which is the part of the park inspired by the hometown of Walt Disney, Marceline, Missouri, and therefore represents a typical American city at the turn of the ‘800 and’ 900. Fantasyland, a section of the park inspired by a typical Swiss mountain village, and home to many attractions dedicated to Disney’s first feature films, such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Peter Pan. Adventureland which hosts attractions dedicated to the jungle, the pirate stories, to Arabia of the film Aladdin. Discoveryland dedicated to science fiction and Frontierland dedicated to the old west.

HOW TO GET TO DISNEYLAND PARIS EURODISNEY:

Disneyland Resort Paris is located about 30 kilometers east of Paris and is easily accessible both by car and by RER (suburban metro). The amusement park has its own railway station which allows direct connections from many French cities thanks to the TGV. The park is also directly connected with Belgium with the Thalys trains and with London via the Eurostar.

Train: From the Gare de Lyon, the RER subway line A will allow you to directly reach the Marne la Vallée / Disneyland Resort Paris station in about 45 minutes.

Bus: Disneyland Resort Paris is also directly connected to the two international airports of the city (Roissy-Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Orly Airport) with special bus lines (Navettes) operated by VEA.

Car: If you are arriving from Paris: on the ring road, at the “Porte de Bercy” exit (south-east of Paris), take the “Metz / Nancy” direction on the A4 motorway. You will find exit 13 after 31 kilometers and exit 14 after 34 kilometers. To access the Disneyland Resort Paris Park, take exit 14 “Val d’Europe, Parc Disneyland”. To get to the Davy Crockett Ranch, take exit 13 “Provins / Serris”.

Starting from Roissy / Charles-de-Gaulle airport: Leaving the airport, follow the signs indicating “Marne La Vallée” to reach the A104. After approximately 27 kilometers, leave the A104 and head for the A4, direction “Metz / Nancy”. Exit 13 is 9 kilometers away and exit 14 12 kilometers away.

Starting from Orly airport: leaving the airport, take the direction “Paris” and follow the signs indicating “Créteil” on the A86. Exit after 11 kilometers to reach the A4, direction “Metz / Nancy”. Exit 13 is 27 kilometers away and exit 14 is 30 kilometers away.
