Cornwall Christmas Markets

Cornwall is one English county located in the southwest of Britain, at the end of the homonymous, long, wide peninsula, which extends towards the Atlantic. From the geographical point of view the Peninsula in Cornwall is much larger than the county of the same name, which is in fact only its westernmost end, while the entire peninsula also includes the entire county of Devon and a good part of Somerset. The county of Cornwall is one of the six Celtic nations. The local language, reported today in use, albeit marginally, by some fans, is related to the Welsh and even more with the Breton. The administrative center and the only city is Truro, while the historical capital is Bodmin. The county also includes the Isles of Scilly, located 45 kilometers from the coast. Fowey Christmas Market is one of the biggest and best in Cornwall it is usually staged on two sites: Leisure Centre and on Town Quay.

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm Christmas Markets

Dates of the Christmas Market:
Usually end of November – December

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm between Newquay and Truro invites visitors to get in the spirit every weekend ahead of the festive season by visiting Cornwall’s only Christmas market set on a working farm. The markets will showcase stalls of tasty local produce alongside Cornish art and crafts. There’s the opportunity to pick freshly cut Christmas trees and try the range of Healeys Cornish cyders for free in Healeys own farm shop. More than just markets, the farm offers a full, fun day out for the family. Cyder making tours and tractor rides down to 20 acres of orchards run regularly throughout the day whilst the friendly farm animals, including donkeys, pigs, goats, ponies and shire horses are a favourite for little ones to meet. Each Sunday afternoon, with a famous Healeys Sunday roast, local choirs will fill The Old Bottlery with the sounds of Cornish carols. It’s free entry to the farm, free parking and, of course, free samples, all of which are produced on the farm including much-loved Rattler Cornish Cloudy Cyder.

Padstow Christmas Market

Dates of the Christmas Market:
Usually December

Padstow Christmas Festival is one of the country’s leading Christmas festivals. The Christmas Market is usually held in the Main Marquee and it is formed by more than 100 crafts folk and producers, 40 star chefs. The market is dedicated to food and drink. From Thursday to Sunday, visitors can see big culinary names from the small screen in a host of cookery demonstrations.

Truro Boscawen Street Christmas Markets

Dates of the Christmas Market:
Usually end of November – December

Truro Christmas Street Markets. The market stalls usually are in Boscawen Street- the heart of the city with retail outlets such as BHS, Waterstones, Samuels and Lakeland. During the days of the markets the streets in the centre of Truro will be pedestrianised.
