Besançon Christmas Market (Marché de Noël – Promenade Granvelle). The traditional Christmas market usually fills the Place Granvelle with over one hundred wooden chalets where you can find handicrafts, gift ideas and gastronomic products. The Christmas Bistro (Le Bistrot de Noël) is usually set up at the foot of the large illuminated tree. For the children you will find the house of Santa Claus (Maison du Père Noël), and perhaps it will be possible to meet Santa Claus, with the Christmas toy showcase, and perhaps it will also be possible to take a ride on the back of donkeys, usually there is a carousel with many other attractions and games.
