1) Barfüsserplatz Christmas Market (Basler Weihnachtsmark). The Basel Christmas market is one of the largest in Switzerland, it is made up of over 150 wooden stalls with many Christmas objects (decorations, tree ornaments, glass balls), typical crafts (hats, carved wooden objects and toys , pottery), collectibles (minerals, fossils) and local cuisine products. In addition, there is a program for children who can learn to make candles or do crafts. The Basel Christmas market takes place in Barfüsserplatz and in the nearby cathedral square (Münsterplatz).
