Bahrain has a desert and arid climate with prevailing winds from the north-west. The months from June to September are very hot and humid with temperatures during the day that can exceed 40°C. Better is the climate during the winter months between December and March with average maximum temperatures between 20°C and 25°C.
The average maximum temperatures vary between 20°C in January and 38°C in August, the average minimum temperatures vary between 14°C in January and 30°C in August, the difference in temperatures between day and night is quite high.
