The city of Bad Tölz, located at an altitude of 660 meters, is a well-known tourist resort in Bavaria, located not far from Munich, the town is surrounded by a wonderful landscape with spectacular views of the Alps. Bad Tölz is famous in Germany for its thermal baths and beautiful historic centre, crossed by the Marktstraße, an attractive street with beautiful frescoed and decorated houses. The most famous building in Bad Tölz is the Stadtpfarrkirche, a late Gothic church built in 1466. The Bad Tölz Christmas Market characterizes the city center during the Christmas holidays.

1) Bad Tölz Christmas Market (Tölzer Christkindlmarkt) in Marktstraße. The Bad Tölz Christmas Market takes place in the Marktstraße (market street) the festively lit street, like the rest of the city centre, is transformed into a long Christmas market with over 50 stalls displaying handicraft products (sculptures in wood and horn, Bavarian musical instruments, porcelain dolls, colored ceramics, angels and Christmas balls), local gastronomy (baked apples, gingerbread, focaccia and chocolate), and the inevitable mulled wine, complete the Christmas atmosphere the nativity scenes displayed in the Kurhaus, the choirs and Alpine music songs.
