Friedrichshafen, is a city located in the middle of the northern shore of Lake Constance, which is famous for being the aviation capital of Germany. The main attraction of the town is, in fact, the famous Zeppelin Museum, here in fact the factory that built the famous German airships was located, if you want you can also take a panoramic tour of the lake aboard a modern airship. In Friedrichshafen there is also the interesting Dornier museum dedicated to this type of aircraft. The most important building and symbol of the city is the former church of the Mayrhofen monastery, the Schlosskirche, which dates from the end of the 17th century.
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN CHRISTMAS MARKET
1) Christmas Market (Friedrichshafen Christkindlesmarkt, Bodensee-Weihnacht Friedrichshafen). The market usually takes place in Buchhornplatz, near the lake, and consists of over 70 wooden chalets. In the village there is also a beautiful living nativity scene. Concerts by musical groups and choirs are organized during Advent, as well as a special program for children with fairy tales, animations, shows and Santa Claus.
