In the former charterhouse of San Martino, next to Castel Sant’Elmo, there is the Museum of San Martino which houses the famous Cuciniello crib, a late nineteenth century crib made up of over 300 pieces, but in the museum there are many other cribs of value, some dating back to the eighteenth century. The museum also has interesting collections of sacred art, painting, pottery, sculpture, maps and ships.

The Neapolitan Christmas is also rich in musical, theatrical and street artists events that animate the life of the city.
